Keywords:
Homeopathy, Patient Perspectives, Integrative Healthcare, Complementary Medicine, Health- Seeking Behaviour, Patient Well-BeingAbstract
Homeopathy continues to be used by some individuals as a complementary or alternative
approach to healthcare, including in countries where it has an established institutional
presence. Patient decisions about homeopathy may be influenced by personal beliefs,
previous experiences, consultation style, perceived affordability and the desire for
individualized care. This paper examines patient perspectives and the place of homeopathy
within contemporary integrative practice. It distinguishes patient experience from claims of
clinical effectiveness and emphasizes the importance of evidence quality, informed choice,
professional standards, referral pathways and patient safety. The objective is to provide a
balanced framework for understanding how homeopathy is situated within modern healthcare
systems.
