Patient well-being and quality of life are increasingly recognized as important dimensions of contemporary healthcare. Beyond disease treatment, patient-centred care considers physical functioning, emotional experiences, social participation, personal preferences, communication, and satisfaction with care. Homeopathy is a longstanding complementary system that remains used in several countries, including India. This paper examines the role of homeopathy in relation to patient well-being and quality of life, focusing on patient preferences, individualized consultation, communication, perceived wellness, psychosocial support, safety, evidence, and integration with contemporary healthcare. Some patients may report positive experiences associated with complementary consultations, but subjective improvement does not establish specific clinical effectiveness. Major scientific assessments have not established reliable evidence that homeopathy is effective for specific medical conditions beyond placebo effects. A responsible approach therefore distinguishes patient experience and supportive care from proven therapeutic effects and emphasizes informed choice, transparent communication, safety, appropriate referral, and continued access to evidence-based healthcare.
