Ayurvedic lifestyle practices have received renewed attention as modern healthcare increasingly emphasizes prevention, healthy behaviour, stress management, nutrition, sleep, and overall well-being. Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine with a long history in South Asia and includes guidance concerning daily routines, diet, physical activity, rest, personal care, seasonal adaptation, and individualized approaches to health. This paper examines the relevance of selected Ayurvedic lifestyle practices to modern health and well-being. It discusses daily routines, nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management, self-care, seasonal practices, patient-centred wellness, research, safety, and integration with contemporary healthcare. The paper recognizes that some lifestyle principles may overlap with modern health-promotion priorities, while emphasizing that traditional status does not automatically establish the effectiveness or safety of every practice or product. A responsible contemporary approach should combine respect for traditional knowledge with scientific evaluation, professional guidance, quality assurance, informed choice, and appropriate medical care.
