Homeopathy remains a recognized form of complementary medicine in several countries and is used by some individuals as part of personal wellness practices. Contemporary wellness emphasizes lifestyle, self-care, stress management, and individual health preferences, creating an environment in which complementary approaches may be considered alongside conventional healthcare. This paper examines the role of homeopathy in contemporary wellness practices, focusing on individualized consultation, patient preferences, perceived wellness, communication, self-care, regulation, safety, and the distinction between wellness use and evidence-based treatment. It also discusses the scientific evidence concerning homeopathy and the importance of informed decision-making. Current evidence does not establish homeopathy as an effective treatment for specific medical conditions beyond placebo effects. Therefore, its contemporary role should be discussed transparently, without presenting unsupported therapeutic claims or encouraging replacement of effective medical care.
