The future of complementary medicine is increasingly connected with questions of evidence, safety, regulation, cultural continuity, patient choice, sustainability, and integration with mainstream healthcare. Ayurveda, Yoga, and Homeopathy occupy important and distinct positions within India's pluralistic healthcare environment and are also discussed internationally within the broader field of traditional, complementary, and integrative medicine. This paper examines their future prospects, focusing on research and evidence, preventive health, mental and physical well-being, digital health, education, professional standards, regulation, public awareness, and integration into health systems. The World Health Organization's Global Traditional Medicine Strategy 2025–2034 places particular emphasis on strengthening evidence, ensuring safety and appropriate regulation, integrating safe and effective approaches into health systems, and empowering communities. citeturn0search0turn0search2 The future development of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Homeopathy therefore depends not simply on increasing popularity, but on responsible evaluation, quality assurance, appropriate use, and clear communication about what is and is not scientifically established.
